Good evening, Happy Sunday to all of you. My butt has literally been planted on either (a.) my bed (b.) my couch (c.) the seat of my car all day. I have found that I am getting old. Like staying out past midnight means that I take 3 naps throughout the next day and nurse bottled water all day.
Thank god it was a rainy day and I was not missing out on beautiful weather. The perfect day to lay around with my man and watch the Masters.
We visited downtown Mobile last night with our friends Brittany & Matt. We listened to live music and danced the night away. Literally, it was 2am when we came home and that’s the first time I’ve seen that number on a clock in a while. But we had fun none the less!
Elevator ride to the top of this high point in Mobile, Skyview Lounge.
Window seats looking over the city.
My main squeeze.
We have WAY too much fun with these two.
I have found my new dancing buddy, so much fun.
Fun, fun, fun. And now to the work week.. but first, here are some drool worthy food pics for your flavor entertainment.
In order to feel productive today, I’ve been perusing the blog world and meal planning for the week. In the midst of meal planning, I found some tasty treats to share with you.
Flourless Chocolate Chip Chickpea Blondies with Sea Salt. << I’m not a fan of the whole black bean/chickpeas in desserts but I’m thinking these will be good. I’ll let you know what I find, obviously this dessert needs investigation. I’m willing to find out if they are safe, just for you.
Mango Coconut Margarita << As if Mango Margarita’s aren’t delicious enough, this recipe just took my love of margarita’s to a whole other level. Obviously this will be on my summer drink list.
And to throw some health and greenery into your sweets & liquid diet ^^, here is a delicious salad recipe. Crunchy Cashew Thai Quinoa Salad with Ginger Peanut Dressing. << I love Thai food and in salad form sounds soo good. Can’t wait to try this one.
I hope you all have a wonderful start to the week and can sneak in one of these new recipes!
What’s your favorite rainy day activity? Mine is watching movies and baking.
