Good evening! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and for those of you who celebrate Easter, that it was a wonderful one. Darin and I worked Saturday & Sunday so today was my day off to get things done around the house. I spent the morning cleaning and doing laundry and running errands so that I’m ready for the week!
Flavor & Finds
For Easter, our friends Brittany & Matt invited us to church and lunch at her parent’s house and we were definitely excited about this! It’s hard being away from home during family holidays so it was so sweet of her to invite us. After church we headed to her parents house for lunch! I was so excited to chow down on some good food.

The food was over the top delicious and SO filling.
Somehow the Macaroni & Cheese was sitting next to me at the dining table. God knows my heart. And my heart loves Mac & Cheese more than any other dish.
Her mom is an amazing cook and even decorated the table beautifully and added these little chocolate bunnies for fun.
After a major eating fest yesterday, I was more than happy to hit up the gym today. This morning started out with Day 1, Round 4 of Best Body Bootcamp!
I’m so pumped for this round! We are starting the 8 week series today and I definitely got worked at the gym. One of my favorite exercises from the plan is Surrender Squats. These babies are killer, you should try them out at 1:30 in the video.
This afternoon I worked on some food prep for the week and one of preps was these Frozen Yogurt Bars from Lindsay at the Lean Green Bean.
I used Two Containers of Chobani, (1) Pear and (1) Apple Cinnamon.
Followed it up with 1/4 cup of Shredded Coconut, 1/2 Cup of Oatmeal Raisin Granola and 1/4 Cup of Sliced Almonds.
I also added 1/2 cup of Chopped Strawberries into the mix and sprinkled some extra cinnamon in as well!
Mixed it all up and spread it out into an aluminum foil-lined pan. In to the freezer they went!
Muy, muy delicioso! They are a perfect spring time frozen treat.
The weather here was beautiful today. Perfect for blogging from the front porch while sipping some lime infused water. One of my goals for Bootcamp this session is 120oz of water a day so adding in some lime mixes it up a little bit! If only that was a Vodka Tonic with Lime…
