Good morning! I hope you guys are enjoying your week so far. I honestly can’t get used to this time change. I was supposed to wake up at 7am yesterday morning and ended up rolling out of bed at 8:30am. Tuesdays I work later hours than the rest of the week so this was O.K. but I wanted to get up earlier! But this morning I’m draaagggiinnng. Pass me the coffee.
I haven’t participated in What I Ate Wednesday in a while so I thought I’d share my clean eats from yesterday. This past weekend I ate a ton of unhealthy foods while baking cupcakes for a wedding shower and then eating all of the food at the shower plus leftovers after the shower! The next day I felt like I had a food hangover from all I ate on Saturday. So I have been really focusing on my food intake this week and making sure I make healthy choices. - For breakfast yesterday morning I cooked up (2) scrambled eggs with baby spinach on top of wheat thin bread. Along with French Press coffee with So Delicious Coconut Creamer on the side, of course.
- For lunch I whipped up a big batch of grilled chicken and veggie stir-fry and put half of it on top of an Ezekiel Bread Tortilla.
Before heading to the gym I whipped up Coconut Fried Bananas from Carrots n’ Cake. So so yum.
When I got home I whipped up a protein shake of: Vanilla Protein Powder, Unsweetened Cocoa & Coconut Milk. I followed this up with lunch leftovers (both not pictured) and this winning dark chocolate combo:
It’s like a Mounds bar.
My tiredness may also be due to Tina Reale kicking my booty in Best Body Bootcamp this week. I did a 4 mile interval run last night followed by ab workouts and I was exhausted when I got home! You guys need to sign up for her next session in January! It is so worth $25 and I would totally pay more! Where else can you get 8 weeks of workout routines that push you to your limits and show you results for $25? I have already seen a difference in my definition!
Our workout Monday was a killer “Ladder” workout. I have never done this type of strength workout before and my legs and upper body are still sore two days after!

If you need a good cardio playlist, I used this 40 minute mix of pump-me-up tunes to breeze through the cardio intervals last night.
Not for children’s ears obviously. Lil Wayne usually caters to adults.
