Good morning! I can’t believe it’s already Thursday and we have to be moved out of our apartment by Sunday! To make a long story short, my husband’s job is changing somewhat and we are moving back home to Georgia for now. We are in the process of transition and things will calm down once we get settled but for now, blog posts will be here and there as I have time!

On Friday after work we flew out of town to see our families and arrange a few things back in Georgia for our move. I was hungry and knew we wouldn’t eat dinner until late that night so I grabbed a KIND bar and one of my favorite magazines, Whole Living.

The magazine cover alone makes me hungry now! I’ve seen a lot of Figs in recipes lately and need to get my hands on some!

We stayed the night with my parents and enjoyed some catching up and dinner with them. On Saturday morning we headed off to see Darin’s family. It was fun to see my niece and nephew, Julianne & Hudson.

Our weekend was pretty much spent relaxing and taking in the gorgeous weather. It was still warm outside but with a nice breeze.

This butterfly was so beautiful!

Until the dog came by and ate it. Yes, I’m serious.

I was taking photos with my phone of the butterfly and enjoying the beauty of the day when Darin’s dads’ dog came over to see what I was up to. And then proceeded to chomp the butterfly. I was heart broken.

We spent one afternoon with Darin’s mom and step-dad at a local park.

It was a beautiful day. I wish I had taken more pictures this weekend but I didn’t even bring my Nikon out of my suitcase. Sometimes I’m just not in the mood to photograph and just want to live in the moment.

Something I did manage to capture was me in my camo gear. When I was first dating Darin, he brought me home with him to meet his family and the men had a planned hunting expedition for Thanksgiving morning. I wanted to go along but had no camouflage clothes so I suggested a shopping trip. What girl wouldn’t? We went to Bass Pro Shop and I somehow came out with a cute outfit. I haven’t worn it since that first hunting trip and we found it this weekend while sorting through clothes…

This is what you get when you marry a boy from South Georgia 🙂

I’ll be back later with a travel workout and food options for you!
