Good evening! I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. I meant to post yesterday but the day got away with me and Darin and I didn’t get home from the gym until 8:30 and then ate dinner and chilled at the apartment. I worked until 3 today and we are heading out to dinner in downtown Ft. Lauderdale tonight! Pictures to come later 🙂

But for now, here is your promised Saturday workout. This is another rendition of a 20 Minute AMRAP like last week except it is an all over body workout. I did this workout yesterday and it was killer! I finished 4 rounds total and was so glad to be done but felt great afterward!

This workout will keep you moving, challenge you and get your heart rate up! If you have 20 minutes you can get a great all over toning workout in that will leave you feeling like you worked out for an hour! You can do this at home and if you don’t have dumbbells at home, use heavy cans or something weighted that will challenge you! Otherwise for a modified version of this workout you can do the movements without weights and still get a great workout!

Workout Notes:

– If you don’t have a place to hold onto and do knee raises, do V-ups on a mat.

– For the Standing Side Crunches with Knee Raise, you will do 15 reps on each side. You will do the exercise like #6 below, however I held a weight in one hand while I held the other hand behind my head and crunched toward that side. You will raise your leg and crunch at the same time.

I hope you find it challenging! Unfortunately after talking with my friend and running coach, Erica, she has suggested me icing after every workout. My 1/2 marathon training is doing a number on my knee and I’m thinking about stopping the distance training after this race. I’d rather have good knees! So this is what last night looked like.

I hope you have a great Saturday & Sunday! Relax, sleep and enjoy.
