Good morning! We are one day away from the weekend! My weekend officially starts this afternoon as I fly off to Atlanta to visit my family. We will be going to our mountain house for the weekend and I’m excited to share my finds with you later!
Later today I will be hitting up the gym for some cardio and HIIT training. Here is what’s on the agenda for today.

It’s Thirsty Thursday and that means a new smoothie recipe! This one is pretty basic but one of my all time favorites.
Strawberry Banana Crumble Smoothie
Mixings:(1) Banana (5-7) Strawberries (1/2) Cup of Rolled Oats (1) Scoop of Protein Powder (1) Cup of Almond Milk (or milk of choice) (1) Cup of Ice
Add all ingredients to the blender and mix it up!
Sit back, sip your smoothie, and enjoy because tomorrow is Friday!
Last night Darin and I went out on a date since I’m leaving town and won’t see him until Tuesday. Plus, I love dates so I try to plan them when I can. I have been craving some Thai food but we haven’t found a place down here yet, so I got on Urban Spoon and checked out reviews in the area. We stumbled upon this little gem…Thai World.
In all honesty, hole in the wall restaurants kind of worry me at first but I know their food is going to be good. Especially when the reviews say so, and they were right.
I went with the Basil Sauce which was a mix of chicken, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, bell pepper and basil. Darin went with the Massaman Curry which was a mix of chicken, curry, bell peppers, potatoes, pineapple and peanuts.
Both were delicious and we definitely want to go back and try out their other dishes. Darin was very happy obviously.
I like this picture. It helps me remember that I have to make the choice to live my life fully everyday or else my surroundings will determine it.
