Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow, I fly home to see my family. I seem to be traveling a lot on the weekends and I so wish my husband could come with me this weekend but he has to stay here and work. Sadly.
This morning I completed a Zuzana Light workout that she posted back in April. I saw that she focused a lot on arms so I wanted to get my arm workout in along with some jump training to get my heart rate up.
Here is ZWOW #14. She explains every workout and you can watch her do the workout. She is a great instructor and this workout will kick your butt. Let me know if you try it!
ZWOW # 14 10 reps of each move- 5 rounds Push Press Thrusters Back Curl Lunge Preacher Curl Weighted Lunge Jumps Broad Jump Burpee ** I used 8lb weights, you can use what works for you.
This workout was really intense! I was drenched by the end of it and it only took me 20 minutes. Make sure to stretch for sure!
In honor of National Peanut Butter Cookie Day yesterday, I baked these cookies last night. You should check out the above link and see all the food holidays there are. Why haven’t I been celebrating these more often?! National Strawberry Shortcake Day is coming.. get ready for it.
If you haven’t noticed by now I am a lover of all things coconut and so is my husband. I decided to re-vamp the traditional peanut butter cookie and I hope that you enjoy!
How do you make your peanut butter cookies?
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
(1/2) cup of rolled oats
(1/4) cup of coconut oil- melted
(1) cup of peanut butter
(1/4) cup of sugar (you can add more according to your sweetness liking)
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 6-8 minutes in the oven. You don’t want these to overcook.
Enjoy with a glass of almond milk. Yum.
Breakfast: Starbucks Nonfat Latte and Greek Yogurt with Muesli
Snack after workout: Wheatgrass shot and Coconut Water
Lunch: Salad Mix and Snack: Granny Smith Apple
Dinner: Grilled Chicken, Sweet Potato Wedges and Asparagus
