Happy Tuesday! It’s such a beautiful day outside! The last few days have been so nice here in Florida and I’m loving the heat because it is accompanied with a nice breeze!
The view from my back patio. I can’t complain.
This morning I sipped some coffee while catching up on my Women’s Health Magazine. I really love this magazine.
While reading I found this article on throwing your body a curve-ball workout to help “shock” it from a workout routine you may be in. I decided to give it a try.
Here I am doing the Dumbbell Rotational Lunge, my shirt is soaked.
Let me know if you try the workout! It’s good for toning all over.
During the week I tend to grab an apple, greek yogurt or almonds for a snack. Today I wanted to try something more savory and salty that I could munch on for an afternoon snack. Here is a recipe for you to try! Very easy, healthy, and flavorful!
(1) 15oz can of Garbanzo Beans
(1) tbsp of Olive Oil
(1) tsp of salt
(1) tsp of garlic powder
Drain can of beans and rinse in colander.
Dry them out on a paper towel.
Place on baking sheet. Add oil, salt, and garlic powder to season and stir around.
You can also add any other spices you like to mix up the flavor! I’m making these pretty basic and garlic-y.
Roast in the oven on 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to keep from burning and sticking to the pan.
Let them cool for 10-15 minutes and then eat up!
Because we are always going to be moving somewhere for the next year or so, I can’t really buy things to decorate our corporate apartment because we travel by suitcase and whatever fits in my VW. I would however like to make a couple of these projects below because they are cheap and easy and will make me feel at home via Pinterest.
Buy $1.00 cheap frames from Hobby Lobby and Mod Podge them before adding photos. I think I can handle $1.00.
Keep old cans and dip them in paint for holding things such as paint brushes, office supplies, etc. I love this idea.
