It’s Monday! Normally I dread Monday’s but this one was more low maintenance as I had work off and got to enjoy a few more hours with my friend, Victoria, visiting in town. Here is a weekend re-cap for you as well as a Monday Motivation. This morning I started my day off with a new bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Then Victoria and I hit up the pool for our last dose of sun from the weekend. Details on the weekend below!
As far as fitness goes, Saturday was my rest day. Then last night when we got back from the trip, Victoria and I hit up the treadmills at our apartment complex for a 2 mile run followed by some “saddle bag” workouts. I will post on those workouts later this week. Tonight I did a 10 minute warm-up followed by this workout:
Sometimes I like to do a total body workout instead of just focusing on certain areas. Today I needed to spice things up and let me tell you adding a 5 min run after a set of toning moves really got my heart rate up. Plus it was funny to see people’s faces as I ran back and forth from the weights to the cardio machine. I hope you try it! Let me know what you think 🙂

Sunday on the drive back I had this little Asian Mix from Publix. You CAN eat healthy on the road 🙂
Today I made a mix of baby greens, rotisserie chicken, almond cheese, slice almonds and tomatoes with balsamic vinegar. It was delicious.

Over the weekend I went to a close friend’s bachelorette party in Daytona Beach, Florida and we had a good time relaxing by the pool and ocean as well as enjoying some food and drinks.
The beach was beautiful and relaxing in the sun was just what I needed after a long week at work.
I’m so excited to celebrate her wedding at the end of the month!
