Good morning! Happy Tuesday. Let’s get moving.

This morning I did a 10 minute warm-up of jumping jacks, high knees, and jogging in place. Then completed this Lean Legs workout I created, it should take 15 minutes. I used 10lb weights for the workout and my timer on my Iphone. Alternating the static movement and jump training will increase your metabolism and burn fat. Always remember proper form with lunges and squats- keep your knees aligned with your ankle.

I followed this up with a 10 minute HIIT (Hight Intensity Interval Training) workout- 30 seconds all out, 30 seconds slow pace- running stairs. You can do this 10 minute workout with any form of cardio (running, elliptical, etc) and you will feel the burn! Make sure to cool down for 10-15 minutes with some stretching, especially those legs!

Flavor

I woke up before Darin left for work to make Whole Wheat Pancakes. I have tried different recipes and have altered them into what I like. This is a great breakfast to fuel you for your day and keep you full until lunch! Enjoy.

Whole Wheat Pancakes

Serves (2)

What you will need:

– (1) cup of Whole Wheat Flour

– (1) cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or any milk of your choice)

– (1) tsp of Ground Cinnamon

– (1) egg

– Pinch of salt

– (1) tbsp of Organic Coconut Oil (or any cooking oil of your choice)

Steps

Mix Dry Ingredients (flour, cinnamon, and salt)

   

Whisk egg separately and add to dry mix. Then add milk and stir together.

  

Heat coconut oil in griddle and add pancake mix using 1/2c measuring cup.

Add some fresh fruit, (I chose blueberries), and some Organic Maple Syrup.

Eat up! Yummy.
